PLUSMAIL Web Control: Site Reports

Site Reports give you valuable information about accesses and errors pertinent to scripts or programs in your web site. You will also be able to see who has visited your site and statistics regarding the number of hits to certain pages, directories, etc.

Web Server:
This will show you a graphical statistics program. We offer 2. The default is called WUSAGE and the 2nd option is WEBALIZER. Click this link to see how many people access your site, and which pages they visited. Since each account has the referrer logs option, you will be able to see exactly how your visitors reached your site and what search terms they chose (through a link on a search engine, for example).

If you wish to choose WEBALIZER, choose "Free Scripts" from the Plusmail left menu and install WEBALIZER. This action will have your account stop using WUSAGE. You would then start using http://your-domain/webalizer as the location to view your stats.

Raw Access Logs:
Access logs show you in text format where accesses to your page are coming from. Each line will show what IP address the visitor was using while accessing your web site, at what time they came, and to what page. If desired, you may obtain a 3rd party software program for complex log analysis.

Error Logs:
Error logs (text format) show you the time and date that someone experienced an error page. If you have error logs enabled, you can access them through your home directory, using FTP or the "Site Manager" function of Plusmail Web Control. Error logs can also be very helpful for those users that install CGI scripts.
